Twin Bridges Restaurant & Lounge Heats Up Wyandotte, OK
Wyandotte, OK- June 27, 2007 - Former owner of The Roadhouse and caterer to the stars, Chef Mark Heyburn, cooks up new delights at Twin Bridges Restaurant & Lounge inside Wyandotte Nation Casino in Oklahoma. With its classic menu, inviting lounge and sophisticated atmosphere, Twin Bridges is the host to guests looking for down-home cooking with culinary flair.
Twin Bridges uses only the highest quality, top-end ingredients. The restaurant features an extensive menu with classic favorites. "Owning and cooking at The Roadhouse on Monkey Island and working in craft services for movie projects, I was exposed to good cooking and escalated service standards," Chef Heyburn said. "Wyandotte Nation Casino has provided me with the perfect opportunity to do what I love most."
A dinner at Twin Bridges Restaurant may begin with French fried onion loaf or gulf shrimp 'corn dogs.' Entrees include cut 'chicken fried' sirloin and walleye seared in browned butter. Try other Oklahoma traditions such as herb roasted half chicken with pecan rice, apple cider gravy, roasted potatoes and apples or our famous five-star meatloaf.
Twin Bridges' wine list includes hand picked selections from around the world, including a few choice bottles from local Oklahoma winemakers, Summerside Vineyards. In addition to the impressive wine collection, Twin Bridges offers a menu of handcrafted cocktails. The creative cocktail list highlights casino combinations, such as the Blackjack, Jack Daniel's with Chambord and Coke, and classic martini's served in style. Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Richard Schlosberg, Director of Food and Beverage, said, "This restaurant provides an unparalleled Oklahoma dining experience. There's no better food, cocktails or service for 90 miles. Mark Heyburn is a terrific chef and we're thrilled to have him at Twin Bridges."
Twin Bridges' menu changes seasonally and Native American specials are served daily, ranging from Indian tacos to a chili rubbed rib eye. Varying jazz music is the backdrop to dining and Twin Bridges Restaurant & Lounge has plans to expand the ambiance and incorporate a gallery of art featuring pieces created by local Native American artists.
"Twin Bridges offers a huge amount of comfort, quality and variety not only in its atmosphere but within the food as well. The restaurant is upscale with a family-owned vibe. It's a great place to relax, enjoy a great meal and even try your luck," said Marie Conlon, Twin Bridges' manager who previously managed the upscale Chuck's Steak House in Florida.
Twin Bridges' dining room seats approximately 120 guests, plus 40 on the patio for outdoor seating. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch, seven days a week, and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for dinner.
